On the "source" Mac, open the Finder and use the "Go to folder" menu to browse to the /Users//.Genymobile/Genymotion/deployed folder.
Launch the virtual machine once, then close it. The correct 2.2.0 virtual device will be downloaded from the Genymotion Cloud. Add a new device (for instance "Google Nexus 7 2013").
Proceed to a fresh install of Genymotion 2.2.0 on another Mac (let's call it: "source"). However I found a solution (I assume some sort of similar procedure applies to Windows PCs): So what you need to do is remove that device from your list and re-download or add that same virtual device from the list again. If you are using the free version, you can't use update on a virtual device (it's only for paid version). Next time, you will be able to automatically convert them. So please, for the last time, delete your current virtual devices and create new ones using our new 2.2 Genymotion version. In this release, we have introduced a wizard that automatically migrates old devices to new ones. But rejoice! Today is the last day you will have to do it. This is why you see an annoying popup when you try to run them from a new Genymotion version.
These new features cannot work on virtual devices created with a previous version of Genymotion. We regularly add new features to Genymotion. When you update it then you will have a fresh Virtual Device then there you need to install the other third party apps which if you installed in your current virtual device like Google Apps (Play Store, Google+ etc) You should update your Virtual Device that's all, if you are not looking to see new feature then you can click on "Continue" button.
